Butyl extruder for spacer frames

The butyl extruder is predestinated for coating spacer frames with thermoplastic sealants. It can be used for coating straight, curved, round and polygonal spacer frames, as well as spacer frames with Georgian bars.
Special guide rollers for radially shaped spacers ensure optimum stabilisation of the frame and therefore also even coating. The opening and closing cycles of the coating nozzles for each frame side are controlled automatically. An integrated measuring device measures the frame widths and ensures that the nozzles are continously adjusted from 4 to 24 mm. The coating speed and spacer height can be individually selected. Rapid refilling of the thermoplastic sealant is guaranteed, thanks to a vertically tiltable material cylinder with quick-change device.
